Ana Cristina Pereira is a journalist from the Portuguese daily newspaper Público. She focuses on themes of human rights and social exclusion in her writing. A number of her pieces have been developed into books or included in collections. Documental theater and documentary are two other forms that she utilizes to write about silenced groups. She has written two plays and is working on her first animated documentary.
