15’ animated documentary by Paulo Patrício
A documental animated short about the case of the transsexual Gisberta, violently spanked, stoned and raped during 3 days by a group of teenagers in Porto, Portugal, in 2006. With the testimonials of friends, as well as unpublished interviews with two of the involved in the case, the short film focuses on concepts such as violence, self-consciousness, morality and identity, thus confronting different dimensions of the human condition and diversity. In the last decade more than 1700 transsexuals were killed, and since 2009, every three days one transsexual is murdered.
